Required discussion board responses are developed usingappropriate peer reviewed scholarly resources, scholarly writing, and include APA style citations andreferences. The in text citations and references should match in the discussion posts asper APA style. Peer reviewed scholarly resources should be no more than 5 years old,but this can change based upon your topic. Scholarly sources include for example,professional, peer reviewed publications or reports from resources such as CDC, IOM, AACN, etc.  These should be written by professionals and scholars in the field. Websites are onlyscholarly, if written by professionals and experts in the area. Wikipedia is not ascholarly source, for example. A web site such as Medscape, CDC, and TIGER Initiative are examples ofscholarly sources. If you have any questions on scholarly sources please checkwith the course instructor. Refer to the APA Publication Manual 7th ed. for each sourcetype’s specific requirements.
