The purpose of this assignment is to outline the managerial skills necessary for communicating in a multicultural organization.

Visit the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC) “virtual newsroom” website. Find a real case involving job discrimination.

Working as a group, analyze the facts of the case and respond by creating a case study PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes. Structure your presentation as follows:
Slide 1, TITLE PAGE. Give your presentation a title and identify all contributing members of your group. (If someones name is missing, that communicates to me they didnt contribute, and they will not earn credit for the work.)
Slide 2, ORGANIZATIONAL FACTS. Identify basic facts about the business or nonprofit organization that the EEOC says discriminated against employee(s). You may need to go to the Internet to find basic facts, and thats ok. In this one slide, just give a simple profile of the organization using bullet points and some kind of illustration, such as a company logo or photograph. Keep it simple. Please, no more than 6 bullet points. The speaker notes area can be used for additional facts or comment needed to support the slide.
Slide 3, DISCRIMINATION COMPLAINT. Present the facts of the discrimination case. What did the business or nonprofit organization do that allegedly violated the law? (And what was the law that allegedly was violated?) Youll want to rely on the EEOC news release for information here. Again, you may need to go to the Internet to learn more about this case. As far as the slide presentation is concerned, keep it simple. Please, no more than 6 bullet points. Tell what the complaint was, and any relevant details surrounding the complaint. Keep it simple. The speaker notes area can be used for additional facts or comment needed to support the slide.
Slide 4, EEOC RESOLUTION. How did the EEOC resolve the case? Describe here, briefly. Does your team think the resolution was fair? Please, no more than 6 bullet points. You can put your thoughts about the fairness issue in the speaker notes area. (Why was/was not the resolution fair?)
Slide 5, COMMUNICATION ISSUE. To what extent did this case stem from poor communication? How could the business or nonprofit organization have communicated more effectively to not have gotten in trouble with the EEOC in the first place? Again, no more than 6 bullet points.
Slide 6, LEARNING. What can we learn from this case to support our understanding of management communication skills? A brief set of 6 or fewer bullet points will work here, too, with any additional comment in the speaker notes area.
Slide 7, REFERENCES. This final slide is a simple list of references you relied on for the work. I would like to see a minimum of five references. Please follow APA format. The EEOC site is a reference for you. Any reading(s) you relied on in this class are references. Anything you looked up on the Internet to support your work is also a reference.
