The MNC strategy project involves researching and analyzing a manufacturing or services corporation located outside the United States. (Please note that financial/bank or oil and petroleum corporations or MNC’s that focus solely on franchising cannot be included. In addition, companies that cannot be selected include those companies included in the case studies or are described in detail in the text (such as Siemens, Nestle).

It is recommended that the research starts with the MNC’s annual report and includes research from at least 3 other sources.
The project must include a description of the MNC’s strategies using the understanding and knowledge gained from the class and the textbook and must be supported by data and evidence gleaned from the research to support the analysis.
The project must include a description of the:
MNC’s corporate strategy (Chapter 13),
MNC’s Organizational strategy (Chapter 14),
MNC’s Market Entry and Strategic Alliance strategy/strategies (Chapter 15)
One or more MNC management strategy as described in Chapters (Chapters 17-20).

The possible maximum points that can be earned for the executive summary is based on the extent to which, it reflects the most important contents of the presentation. The executive summary of the MNC strategy analysis should be brief 200-500 words and include: the name of Multinational Corporation (MNC), a list of primary products or services, a mention (without explanation) of MNC’s International Strategy (Chapter 13), Organizational Structure (Chapter 14), Market Entry Strategy (Chapter 15) and one other functional strategy from Chapters 17-20 (Marketing, Human Resource Management, Global Production, Outsourcing and Logistics, OR Accounting.
