ll Communication majors enrolled in COMM3300 (Communication Technology) will complete an individually written report on the effectiveness of their use of communication technologies to support their communication, collaboration, and coordination on the group research project. The report (score: 0-100) will assess their understanding of how computer-mediated communication (CMC) differs from face-to-face communication (FtF), their experiences of using specific hardwares and softwares to facilitate intra-group communication, as well as their application of a fundamental communication technology theory to analyze the effectiveness of group work via CMC as compared to FtF. Content and Grading Criteria: i. You are required to complete an individually written report on the effectiveness of your use of communication technologies to support your work in the group project (i.e. the Theory in Practice “TiP” project). ii.
