· Complete a substantial revision of either your Informative Memo, OR Infographic, OR Newspaper Op-Ed. Please note that when I say substantial, I expect at least 50% of the writing to change. Change, for its own sake, is the point of this assignment. When we give ourselves time to revisit something we’ve written before, we are often able to make more effective choices the second time around.
o This could look like some (but not necessarily all) of these items:
§ Adding 2+ pages of new or revised ideas
§ Rewriting a significant portion of the piece (the introduction, the body, the conclusion)
§ Doing additional research for the piece and integrating it into the project/expanding it
§ Reframing the main argument or claim, taking a stronger stance
§ Revisiting feedback from peers and instructor
§ Significantly reorganizing the information and structure of your Infographic or Memo
· Write a paragraph (or paragraphs) about the decisions you made during the revision process.
