2nd para: Acknowledge and refute opposition (to refute means to say what is wrong with their thinking. e.g. “But what Smith fails to realize is that . . .)
3rd para: Begin w/point 1 from thesis (School uniform eliminates social class distinction)
4th para: Begin w/point 2 from thesis (School uniform has been proven to reduce truancy rates among students, especially high school students)
5th para: Begin w/point 3 from thesis (School uniform is much cheaper for parents, many of whom have limited income)
6th para – Begin w/point 4 from clustering of ideas (School uniform promotes pride among students)
etc. etc. until all your points (reasons) from your clustering of ideas have been argued. 
Make sure your point is clearly stated at the beginning of each body paragraph. Sounds repetitive? That’s okay – it’s an argument. 
Conclusion
Audience: Your audience for this assignment consists of your classmates and your instructor. Assume that your audience has general knowledge about your topic but is unfamiliar with the specific information you will have found in your research.
